SCHWAN SUPER RINK HOCKEY TOURNAMENTS
Schwan Super Rink offers tournaments year-round. No other hockey complex in the country can match the tournament atmosphere generated at this facility. With most tournaments, all or most of the games will be at the eight-sheet Schwan Super Rink. You'll get a festival-like atmosphere that simply isn't possible elsewhere. Combined with our experienced tournament staff, we feel confident you will have the best hockey tournament experience possible. Here are the possibilities:
USA International Hockey Cup
This unique summer tournament covers five different weekends in the summer and often features international teams. Both boys' and girls' divisions are offered in many age groups. The off-ice activities and international flavor make this the best summer tournament experience.
All-American Girls' and Women's Hockey Tournament
This pioneering tournament was one of the first all-female hockey tournaments in the country. Now entering its 14th year, this is a draw for female teams around the country every November.
Schwan Cup
Simply the premier boys' and girls' high school holiday hockey tournament. The boys' high school division plays at Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild, and many metro arenas. For the first time in 2005, the boys games were televised. The tournament offers a large girls' high school division played at the Schwan Super Rink and Ridder Arena. Following the high school tournament a youth division is held at the Schwan Super Rink.
The Cup Adult Tournament
This late August tournament is for adult teams that want a fun, late summer tournament experience. Features several golf discounts at adjacent Victory Links course.
Wal-Mart Hockey Cup High School Festival
This tournament is offered in late July as a way for boys and girls high school teams to close out their summer training with competitive games.
Stick It to Cancer
This fund-raising tournament offers a way for hockey teams to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Played in late April, the tournament offers girls' and women's divisions for all ages and abilities.
Ironman Adult Tournament
This tournament truly challenges a team's fitness and endurance. We give you five games in three days. A great way to end the winter season, this tournament is played in March.
Wal-Mart Hockey Cup–3v3 Tournament
It's like a pick-up game at the pond, except your playing at the biggest ice complex in the world! This tournament offers exciting, non-stop action for players and spectators. Youth and adult divisions are offered for both males and females.
Walleye Chop
A fun-filled adult tournament in May that is great for the whole family. Both men's and women's divisions are offered and we even throw in the fish-fry for teams!
Schwan Blues Girls' Invitational
This tournament is associated with our Schwan AAA program and is played in May.
